Week 65
So, it has been a while. I had several weeks in a row where my depression was so severe I didn't feel like posting. However, with the help of my wife, my family, and my good friend, I got through those tough weeks.
I am doing quite a bit better now, I have been getting up every day. Whereas before I viewed this as a chore I needed to do to get better, I now look forward to getting up in the morning and walking to the living room.
For the last few weeks, my wife and I have been playing music together, I did have to miss one day when I had a nasty migraine that kept me in bed all day, as I was dizzy and nauseous, because migraines are fun. My wife has been live-streaming the music to Facebook, and I have been taking the videos and uploading them to our YouTube channel. I have also been live-streaming myself playing some old video games on Twitch, which I then upload to our YouTube channel.
I have been eating in a more conscious way. I'm trying to eat smaller portions, cut down on snacks and sweets, and I have completely cut soda from my diet. My friend has been supplying me with delicious, healthy meals, as well as small, more health-friendly snacks.
Speaking of my friend, he also got me to start doing some light workouts with resistance bands this last week. They are going well and I hope to start increasing my reps per exercise and the number of times that I do the exercise each day.
As always, feel free to comment below.
